Who are we?
welcome to Sandown Motorsport a small team of Motorsport enthusiasts based in surrey that love to go racing. we started in 2022 in the C1 endurance championship and moved through to running track day cars and assisting in other formulas such as Ferrari challenge. we now have the capability to build and maintain a number of race and track cars as well as setup and Tyre services including shaving.
Citroen C1 racing Endurance series.
In 2022 we embarked on this series with 2 cars having built our first customer car for swerve racing team in 2021. the series takes in the best of what the UK Motorsport calendar has to offer with tracks like Oulton park, Donnington park, and Silverstone for the 24 hr race with over 60 cars in attendance for that race. with grids in excess of 40 cars every round this is a highly competitive yet fun series that attracts drivers from novice to BTCC champions. we continued through 2023 and have plans in place for the 2024 season.
Porsche club GB
we currently have 4 Porsche club GB championship cars from class 1 to Boxter cup. we build and maintain the cars in house and can offer services to customers including setup, damage repair to full car builds.
Caterham Track Cars
we currently have a pair of Caterham 420R cars in our driver development stable. these cars are ideal to sharpen your skills as a driver and also learn new tracks or even refresh yourself with an old one. These are fast and raw cars that focus a driver and with the assistance of our driver coach can really improve the skills of any driver.
Track Day Support
We offer support for your track day from transport all the way through the running of the car to the light hospitality. If it is some 1-2-1 coaching your looking for we can assist you. we also have opportunity to hire our mx5 track day car or one of our C1 endurance cars.
Race Car Build & Support
With 20 years experience building race cars from short ovals to circuit cars we can accommodate your needs. we also offer support should you wish to undertake the build yourself we are happy to help.
Tyre Shaving
we can now offer a Tyre shaving service as well as small and medium size item shot blasting.
